Birthday Greetings to Centenarians
As a sign of respect to centenarians, the Secretary for Labour and Welfare and the Chairman of the Elderly Commission send birthday greeting letters and cards every year to Hong Kong residents who are 100 years old respectively, and continue to do so on their 105th birthday and subsequent birthdays.
Members of the public who wish to nominate elderly persons aged 100 or above to receive birthday greeting letters and cards are invited to contact or visit in person any one of the following offices, and provide a copy of the identity document of the elderly person concerned for processing the nomination ―
- Home Affairs Enquiry Centres of 18 District Offices
- District Social Welfare Offices of the Social Welfare Department

Public Housing Estate Offices of the Hong Kong Housing Authority
(only applicable to residents of public housing estates under the Hong Kong Housing Authority)
