Ross WRAIGHTProfessional career: Ross Wraight is the Group Chief Executive of Standards Australia International Limited (SAI). Ross's career spans more than 25 years in financial, industrial and public services. He has held positions in several of Australia's most significant organisations including: Advance Bank; British Oxygen Company; Elders Finance Group and the New South Wales Health Department. He commenced duties at SAI in February 1996. More recently he was appointed a director of the United States's investment manager Loomis Sayles's Australian subsidiary. In his current role he has lead the growth and development of the Standards Australia group to better equip the organisation for the 21st Century. These initiatives have resulted in SAI being one of the worlds leading e-commerce businesses ranked in the top ten shopping sites in Australia and one of the most successful knowledge based organizations of its type. Ross was elected as Vice President (technical management), and Chairman of the Technical Management Board (TMB) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in 2000 after serving two-year term on the Council.
